When you see a beautiful woman or a handsome man, what do you notice first? Their outfit? Smile? Eyes? How about when you listen to a song, whats the first thing you notice? The lyrics? Flow? Voice? Storyline? For me the answer is and has always been the beat. The start of where it all begins, the root of the tree, the mitochondria of the cell–the beat. The production of a song goes unnoticed by many, then there’s me who has a love for every single aspect of pop culture. SCF Beats is a up and coming producer coming out of the West Coast’s most prized state, California. From making beats off of an iPod touch for fun, to producing some of the dopest tracks you will ever hear, SCF Beats continues to catch my ear with every upload. His style is a mix of old school and new school music; his music brings a new “swag” if you will, to modern day culture.
